Painted portraits (approximately 30cm X 40cm) cost $400. Watercolour portraits are on high quality, acid-free paper. They will require framing, either by yourself or I can arrange frames at an extra charge.
Acrylic (or oil) portraits are on high quality canvas.
Black and white drawings, on archival paper, cost $250.
Larger sizes can be arranged, at an additional cost.
Also, additional pets, or their owners, can be arranged at an additional cost.
Payment is by internet banking, funds transfer, or by cheque.
Your finished artwork will be securely wrapped and despatched. You can pick up your portrait or have it mailed. Within Australia the postage charge is $25.
Pet portraits are created only from photos. Our four legged friends find it hard to sit still for too long.
Firstly, fill in the form below. I will then contact you and have you select and send a picture you are happy with of your friend (more than one shot can help for reference). Good quality digital images are fine. Try to avoid high contrast lighting with dark shadows and avoid using a flash. Cloudy days without strong sunlight and shadows are best.
If you prefer to have the photo taken I can offer this service for a small charge. Larger sizes or adding more than one pet will add to the cost — this can be discussed when ordering.
Allow approximately 4 weeks between confirmation and despatch. You will be sent by email a digital proof of your commissioned art work for approval. Once the balance has been paid your portrait will be carefully packaged for delivery with your receipt.
I welcome your input and am happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have before or during creation of your portrait.
